Luxury Jackson Hole Wedding at Snake River Ranch

Jackson Hole is an extraordinary wedding destination for couples who enjoy outdoor adventure, opulent accommodations, and stellar Western cuisine. Rachel and Terry’s luxury Jackson Hole wedding embraced the serene wilderness of Wyoming’s Grand Tetons while incorporating modern design elements of neutral colors and natural materials. I was so excited to document Rachel and Terry’s Summer Wyoming wedding as a second shooter with the lovely Laura Powers! I can’t wait for you to see how beautiful their day was on Snake River Ranch!

Getting Married In Jackson Hole

Since the early ’90s, Jackson Hole has been coveted as a premier and private Old West haven for those searching for a serene sanctuary away from the hustle and bustle of big city life. In recent years, Jackson Hole has become a top destination for luxury weddings. This is partly due to its unbeatable adjacency to Yellowstone National Park, Grand Teton National Park, and world-class ski resorts. However, the area's most alluring perk is the town’s proximity to a commercial airport! (The closest to any ski resort in the U.S.)

While Jackson Hole’s natural beauty is undoubtedly well-known, the town is also a mecca for culture, history, art, and cuisine. One of my favorite bars in the area is Million Dollar Cowboy Bar. Honky tonk visitors here can get a rustic taste of Jackson Hole’s Wild West history while also enjoying the modern luxuries the bar and town square offer. From exclusive homestead retreats like Snake River and Diamond Cross to four and five-star hotels like Cloudveil, Amangani, and Four Seasons, Jackson Hole is an elevated old west oasis for engaged couples and newlyweds.

The Best Time Of Year For A Jackson Hole Wedding

The best time of year to get married in Jackson Hole is mid-summer to early Fall (unless you're planning a luxe apres-ski elopement or resort-style wedding near the slopes in the Winter). Most mountainous areas tend to be warmest from mid-June to mid-September. However, keep in mind that rain showers are expected during Summer afternoons. So, if you plan on holding an outdoor wedding ceremony, always have an indoor backup plan!

About Snake River Ranch

Snake River is a working cattle ranch nestled against the Snake River and rugged Teton Mountain Range. Situated next to Teton Village and just a short drive from Jackson Hole, Snake River Ranch is a pristine nature preserve. It also has some of the best unobstructed views of the Grand Tetons in the area. With a wide variety of ceremony spots spread across the ranch’s acreage and a vast array of recreational activities like air balloon adventures and trail rides, Snake River Ranch is a unique and laid-back venue perfect for wedding celebrations with good company.

A Luxury Jackson Hole Wedding At Snake River Ranch

My time spent with Rachel and Terry at Snake River Ranch was a dream and truly unforgettable. There are so many beautiful opportunities for photos around the ranch’s property, so it’s no surprise that my favorite thing about the venue was the vast amount of green space and scenery. Rachel and Terry’s ceremony spot was stunning, with no clutter or visual distractions. As a photographer, there’s nothing like minimal landscapes; they’re the key to capturing classic and timeless portraits.

The tall, lush Aspen trees perfectly framed the Tetons at the couple’s ceremony site. Rachel and Terry’s grounded floral arch perfectly complimented Wyoming’s wild and wondrous ranch country. I couldn’t be more in love with venues that allow couples to design and customize a ceremony space that fulfills their wedding dreams. The couple’s luxury ranch ceremony at Snake River was the perfect mix of romance and excitement, with a stunning tented reception and an upbeat silent disco to celebrate the couple’s promise of forever.

Wyoming Wedding Photography

Rachel and Terry’s luxury Jackson Hole wedding at Snake River Ranch is one of my favorite ceremonies I’ve captured to date. There’s truly nothing like a timeless outdoor wedding under the Tetons. As a destination wedding photographer, I value slow, emotion-filled wedding celebrations full of natural beauty, intentionality, and emotion. Planning a Jackson Hole wedding? Say hello! I'd love to get to know you and have a meaningful conversation about how I can capture all the candid, timeless, and joy-filled moments that'll make your wedding day unforgettable.
